Press, 1999. Chap. 6-14 deal with particular media. Chap 3, "Networks of Remediation", deals with
definitions and theory. The final chapters deal with the impact of digital media "for our culture's
definition of the self." I will put my personal copy in my SIMS mailbox.
- Gilster, Paul. Digital Literacy.New York: John Wiley, 1997. The book is written for a general
audience and you may have to skip elementary sections. Chap. 2, "The Nature of Digital Literacy,"
brings up some interesting issues.
